GetUpside Rebrands to Upside.com

Another week, another domain name upgrade. This time, it’s cash-back app creator GetUpside, which has rebranded to Upside after raising $65 million in equity financing and $100 million in debt financing.

The rebrand to Upside also revealed that the company had acquired Upside.com. According to DomainIQ’s Whois history, the domain in late 2021, securing the name from a recently-closed business travel startup.

Domain Names Are Fuelling the Latest NFT Craze

There’s quite a cross-over between domain name investors and NFT investors, with many leading domainers spending significant time and funds in the NFT market. It makes sense, then, that domainers could be at the heart of the latest NFT craze.

The Ethereum Name Service has seen .ETH domain sales surge 2,300%, with a 119% increase in domain registrations this past week. There seems to be a hive of activity around three- and four-number .ETH domains in particular.
