alert Lost domain on Sav.com because they've forgot to renew it

So, this keeps getting better and better. After many complaints (ie. 1, 2, 3) about how Sav went nuts lately, here is my contribution in TLDR: April 6th: won the domain name on auction (won't state which one because I still do have hopes to catch it with 3rd party drop-catch service but can...

What is your experience listing domains as auctions on SAV?

I was looking for an auction marketplace which don't charge for listings for some of my non premium domains. I listed one domain name, as a test, and I wouldn't mind much if it gets sold for 1$. No bidders yet. What is your experience selling on SAV through their auctions? in terms of success...

Opinions Needed: GoDaddy / Dynadot / Others for Pricing and Reliability

I am in need of opinions from you fellow domaining experts on the various registrars out there. I host a bulk of my domain portfolio at GoDaddy (98% .com names in portfolio) and with adding more and more names, the GoDaddy cost is getting to the point it is uncomfortable, especially at renewal...

Problems with 2 domain transfers where the gaining registrars keep saying the auth code is invalid even-though the loosing registrars had reissued it.

I am tying to transfer 2 domains: 1. Domain1 from HostGator --> to Dreamhost and 2. Domain2 from Sav --> to One.com In both instances, I am having the exact same problem = the gaining registrars keep saying that that the auth code is invalid: "Heads up, Allysin! Your domain registration...

discuss There are some people list millions of other people's domain on Afternic

Who knows, given their claim of having over 23 million listings. Out of curiousity, were you doing any marketplace auctions recently? It's curious that two Namepros members, both doing auctions at Sav this week, would find these spurious listings. For myself, I had had issues in the past...

E-mail: domain "pending Sedo/Afternic Fast Transfer authorization"

Sav sent me this e-mail. I have no clue what it is. I have not listed my domains anywhere. Does this mean someone bought the name when it was still listed on Afternic from the previous owner? Or can anyone tell me what this is about? I might want to sell the name but I'm kind of pissed that...

A Domain is under Control of two Separate Account Dashboards!!

Sav expired domains usually leave the dashboard 1 month after expiry. But, I've got a domain expired on 23/10/2022, which hasn't left my dashboard yet. Out of curiosity, today I checked the whois, and found out that it was re-registered on 13/01/2023, and currently listed for sale by someone...

services What are best alternatives to DAN? (Since GoDaddy has bought & ruined the service as expected)

Still, I have yet to hear about whether Sav has additional payout fees and payout limitations. Does anyone know out there whether there are any other hidden charges, including even transaction fees with cc use, paypal, etc?

    Sav Official Thread

That sounds like a very unfair business practice, at least to me. Any others out there have similar recent experiences with this particular problem? If it is becoming more widespread of an issue, perhaps a member alert could be posted.

advice Now that DAN updated it's commission, what's the best approach?

BTW, it's interesting that SAV appears to be the only Chicago-based Registrar. It's nice to have a Landers option from the "Windy City," or any midwestern US registrar for that matter. What are Sav's payout fees? Does anyone know about any additional transactions and payout fees...
