discuss Expiring Domains Question

I would like some clarification on how this works.

You can view the list of 'pending delete' domains on expireddomains.net

For example, you can see that 'pie.io' was added on 4-3, with an end date of 5-3.

If you look up the whois here: whoislookup.io/whois/pie.io

You can see the updated date is: Updated Date: 2022-04-18T02:53:42Z

Does this mean the domain is already registered to a new owner?

Registry Expiry Date: 2022-02-16T23:35:16Z
Domain Status: pendingDelete
Both indicators mean that the domain is still in Pending Delete.

Updated Date doesn't care.
