Most of us are going to experience mean comments on social media. It's just part of the package, unfortunately. And sometimes we'll get legitimate criticism. We'll make mistakes. Someone will take something we say the wrong way. We are human. We're not perfect. And on that same thought, we won't be able to fully block out the negative emotions that come with reading a harsh comment. It's normal to be a little hurt or embarrassed.
All of this is normal. What is Critical is that our self worth and our perception of ourselves is not wrapped into these comments? Your worth is not dependent on comments, be them good or bad. Your message shouldn't be shut down by a few comments. Your goals shouldn't be sidelined by the opinions of strangers on the internet. Stay focused on your mission.
