There was a program on over here about the Ad-Blocker Ad-Blocker Ad-Blocker..

The future should see less ads, these ads will have to perform to a set of guidelines, be positioned well and be attractive to the site (however you police that, who knows!).

If all ADs get blocked we may move into a new era of having to pay to read content (or charged per megabyte by the government and then a share goes to the platform provider (ie host \ content site etc))
