Wow!! I new one day oled would be worth something as I was into this niche 6 years ago but dropped all my domains years ago as it took until now to get noticed in domain world.

This is of course the top dot com to own in the field.

Actually I must amend my earlier post as I was into oled 9 years ago and I had a top ranked oled RSS feed site until panda and penguin plus googles copyright bs took hold and basically killed the site so 2 years worth of time destroyed by Google.

Led tech is not new but in domain world I'm amazed not many other oled domains have sold for much $$ .

Noticed that both oled.com and oleds.com were sold to the same company. Any followup on why Matt Van Grinsven / outboxes.com was banned? Also curious what reasons Flippa issues a ban besides going around the commission payment.

Speaking of the OLED.com auction there was a discussion on there about why it was banned from adsense, and the comments included 2 websites that supposedly tell if a site is banned from adsense, and so I checked both sites, and the one EVERY site I checked was banned, and the other, every site I checked was NOT banned, including porn sites like porn.com and sex.com; not that I think they ever had any adsense on those sites, but I know I can't put adsense on a few of my own names, but they were marked as OK.. I am at this point thinking the scripts are broken on those sites.

Hey! Matthew Van Grinsven here. . .previous 50% owner of oled.com oleds.com oled.net oleds.net foleds.com, pholed.com, pholeds.com, toled.com (among others). The adsense stuff was just someone trying to tank the auction. I've never been banned from there on any domain, but....I haven't worked with them in 10+ years, so. . .no reason for it to be banned anyway. The only evidence was that site that says every single domain is banned from there.

Universal Display took it down, but......LG had made a token bid around 12k a few days before it ended. They never bid on the last day, and a source of mine told me they decided against going after it. I was obviously hoping for a clash between (2) of these 3 (samsung, Universal Display, LG).........and I only got 1 of them to bid seriously. Second place bidder was a speculator.
