Detected domains is an ongoing series in which we take a look at the recent activity of some of the most successful domain investors, and what they're currently buying and selling. In this week's edition, we discover some incredible purchases by Media Options and we find out more about James Booth's (@BoothDomains) most recent acquisition.
@Frank.Schilling's NameAdministration acquired a large number of three-letter .NET domain names in what looks to be a portfolio acquisition from domain investor Oliver Hoger.
Media Options acquired two high-quality one-word .COM domains recently in Rosemary.com and Stretch.com.
Andrew Rosener of Media Options also may have sold Wadsworth.com after the name went into WHOIS privacy protection at @Uniregistry. In a DomainSherpa show from April 2017, Andrew confirmed that the domain was acquired by his company for $7,000.
@Nat Cohen of @Telepathy Inc looks to have sold the domain Adventure.tv. The new owner could be a domain investor doing business as New Star Branding. Nat also acquired Joni.com recently.
Chinese brokerage company 62.com purchased 2000.com on behalf of a client.
The company also acquired 390.com from IBM. This name has been for sale for quite a while, and the likely sales price was in the low to mid six-figure range, based on previous price quotes.
Garry Chernoff of NetIncome Ventures Inc paid $2,108 to acquire HeadNorth.com after the domain was auctioned off at NameJet.
James Booth acquired Skunk.com from Skunk Records Inc, a record label from Long Beach, CA.
