It's time for this week's Top Topics here at NamePros. In summary:
A drastic tweak of your domain asking prices might produce more sales. Get details about how Sports.gg sold for $96k. Read about how Sedo & Afternic fare in sales performance. The big question: Should you keep investing in Meta domains?
Trying something Drastic!
When things don't work out with domain sales, it's time for something drastic, such as lowering prices substantially. Make sure that the price reduction is matched across all major marketplaces, such as Sedo, Afternic, Dan, and others. Such a price drop should hopefully attract buyers that were on the fence.

Sports.gg Sold For $96,000 By Logan Flatt
Domain investor, Logan Flatt, disclosed a recent sale of a .gg domain name. Sports.gg sold for $96,000 dollars - apparently a record for the ccTLD representing the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The domain extension .gg is popular with gaming and esports web sites.
That's almost double the previous record of a .gg domain sale, that of eth.gg for $49,995 dollars per NameBio.

I sell much more on Sedo than Afternic
Domain investors using two popular domain aftermarkets, Sedo and Afternic, compare notes on their success. Listing the same domains on Sedo and Afternic produces different results and for some it's skewed towards one or the other.

As Meta stock tumbles with Metaverse losses mounting, should domainers rethink their domain holdings?
Meta Platforms, the umbrella company of Facebook, is having a hard time on the metaverse; its stock has taken a beating in recent days and there is a hiring freeze in place. If the biggest player in the metaverse is facing troubles, domain investors should take notice.
If you are currently actively registering, promoting, or building "meta domains" this is an opportunity to share your thoughts.
