Your right on the money everyone is chasing the cryptorate euphoria dream sale, and that was a one off sale, or maybe a few more related, but hitting that again,, especially given the bloodbath happening today, is very hard to do, you will need to Spend $100k, maybe to replicate that one sale, if even that.
It was up until a week ago, but as previous posted stated cryptorate.com sale raised the profile, and prices, now you have to pay a higher premium I’m every auction transaction, those one off dudu.com sales are not easy.of course that sale.. or bitcoincash.org and some more are rare.. large number sales.. hard to make.. but all in all the more I read about investing in actual crypto money, I'm thinking it may well be safer and more profitable in the end to ride the wave with some crypto domains.. vs actual crypto money investments!

There are 3-4 domainers who are actively bidding, and keeping those prices very high, no deals will be had in the aftermarkets on these keywords anymore. You are going to have to lay down a serious bet on the big keywords, if you want to play.
In response to $100 inbound offer I got yesterday, CryptoRate top the list of my comparable sales, followed by some other powerful figures relating to crypto. He will think twice before making another bid. CryptoRate is a good domain, if they can make a good site for quotes, and trading,
I am sure that is the goal, but it’s going to take more than $100k.
Right now if you got the domains already is the time to capitalize on sales.
I agree - I have bid for coin and crypto names for the last 6 months and even though I have had reasonable budgets, I have been constantly outbid - I sold startupcoin early last year and I probably would have sold it more today, but I had bought it the year before for $25 so can not complain over ROI
cna I ask what kind of sale range it was?
BitcoinHeart.org
Privacycoins.org
Opinions are welcome..
Thanks. I'll work in it.I've actually like your post because of this valuable gem 'PrivacyCoins.org' It mirrors a well developed site with a list of the following coins. Find out what they are and it will help with your marketing of this DN:- Zcash, Monero, Dash, XVG, PIVX, Zcoin, ZenCash, Nav Coin, Komodo, Spectre coin
I think i have to raise my minimum offer on Godaddy . I just got another lowball offer and Countered with my asking price. This makes it the second offer on two different crypto names in the last 24 hours
I got two offers last night both coin keyword domains. One via afternic, one direct , have to quote high, because prices for them are moving up by the day.I think with the sale of 'cryptorate.com' for close to 6-figure, it's the dawn of a new era for crypto-related Dns. We're definitely not settling for less.
I don't know what keywords you've got on Godaddy, if they contain the catch tags, I'll definitely raise the bar. As the marketcap for cryptocurrency now approaches 1 trillion, we'll see more projects on the way and we 'landowners' are the starting point for viable web projects.
I keep getting them from afternic “price request” , how do you request a price on afternic? I thought you just submit an offer?
So i guess there are lots of price request buttons on these sites then? What sites are these?
We are waiting. The two I received recently are not him.We just saw Mike Berkens be the beneficiary of crypto gains as Talk.Show sold to a heavy investor in Ripple.
The one guy who doesn't quite need it so bad, $50K sale
To many people still thinking everyone is alseep at the wheel, and they can steal the names for nothing, [email protected] two bs inquries from him today, and counting, sure others should be getting some spam also.
Well not really a crypto related sale, but a sale made possible due to gains from the industry, hopefully that, with the new tax plan stimulates new business investment, and hence the domain industry. We are waiting. The two I received recently are not him.
