I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

War Pigs covered, Jason Newsted guest in tribute to Woody. Especially like the nearly identical drumming of Bill Ward on this.

Since we have music going, I just heard this and had a flashback, when young JB (15) might have had some older women, show me the ways of the world. But I'm not sure. Had a Summer job in Germany, program called Summer Hire. Lots of kids. First was in a group of 8, then separated into 2 groups of 4. The first 4 picked up garbage all Summer. My group worked at the Army Map Depot. Had like 20 year olds in charge of us. We all got along great, funnest job I ever had. Maybe worked 2 hours max a day. I brought my boombox with me one day and was playing song below, Herbie Hancock's Rockit. Had 2 ladies that used to come and hangout. 19 and 20. One said after listening to below song that Herbie Hancock was a jazz musician. I said nah, that's breakdance music. I was wrong of course, he mainly played jazz. But she told me she had an apartment on base and that I could come over and listen to jazz, I never did. But was this something else? Was she trying to get at young JB? The other one invited me over as well. I wish I could go back in time, just to see what would have happened.

Seems like some of my $4.99 hand regs yesterday are actually getting a few hits. Not much but 3 or more

Need to go hunt for more at this price. Not much risk. Hopefully, they have the same deal for Cyber Monday or extend it, great for new customer acquisition.

Looks like I'll make a little profit over my hand reg experiment, which I rarely do. Have bids on 2 hand regs.

Oh, NFL Draft now on. Forgot about it, have to catch up on picks.

Browns picked Baker Mayfield. Is he going to be a success or Johnny Football 2?

4 main qbs gone already. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/rounds

ultimate P Snipe
was just thinking about that number...especially when I was on page 2222

Was she trying to get at young JB? [/MEDIA]
Someone got young Bri (short form for Brian) to this song...of course there also was "herbal tobacco" involved (stems/seeds and all)
which is probably why it is my favorite rock song...and I really spent lots of time learning the riff....even had it as a ringtone...lol

Listen to Jazz in private?, wow, too bad. 15 was the age for me. Totally independent really I was. Been there done that too. Funny. Had a Sabot, used to try to sail it when I was about same age. No lessons, no money, etc. I had a girl I knew from school who I later worked with at the same dish washing job and she was a counter clerk.... she *implied* she would like to go sailing in my dinky boat. Some reason, I never took the hint. Plenty of other those things.. A few months later, I took it out too late in the afternoon heavy wind, and broke the mast boom, and had to have it towed back, could not tack back.

So do you still play? That song was huge during my HS years. Great album. I have a favorite which is obscure a line progression I am pretty sure Joe didn't play the solo on. The swing groove in this song and the harp tone I love it.

Yeah, let me tell you another one.

Dad was a club manager in the Army. I used to pass out flyers for the club to make a little extra money. One time, I was walking into the club and right when you walk in to the left, there was this room where they rented out VHS and Betamax tapes. The guy who ran the place was standing outside next to the door. When I walked in, he said to me, I have a sister that I think would like you. I stopped and said "what?" I thought he was weird at the time because he was a dude wearing an earring. Then he said, yeah, I think she would like you, she's 17 and has her own apartment on the Hauptstrasse. I just kept walking. I was 15/16 so age wise she just a year or so older. I kept thinking, why is he telling me this? So who knows, I wasn't good at figuring that stuff out at the time. I thought it was a big deal she had her own apartment already. But the typical 17 year old European is much more mature than the typical 17 year old American.

Hauptstrasse, is a long street of shopping - https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUse...dt_Old_Town-Heidelberg_Baden_Wurttemberg.html

There is some movie out, think Jim Carrey, about always saying yes to things. Life sure would be more interesting if you did that. Yep:
