No one has to hate anyone to disagree with someone , so I agree, there is no place in this now pitiful world for Hate itself . It’s unacceptable .

Hate is like a virus, it's contagious. I don't hate Trump, in fact I prayed for his Covid recovery during a sweatlodge ceremony. His blatant disrespect for the people who he was supposed to represent has been duly noted, regardless of their political affliliation. I simply called him out on it, not in hatred, but in due cause.

For better or worse, the popular idea of Canadians as an understated, compassionate, polite people is just a stereotype cliché.
I wasn't referring to Canadians especially. Though now that you mention it, I used to compare Canadians to Gremlins - all sweet and cuddly until they get wet. Since most of my surviving family is Canadian, and I have spent a fair bit of time there, I will say they are essentially no different than Americans (pardon me, USAians) at least from the northern states. The only Canadians I dread are those who work immigration at the airport - they can be nasty pieces of work - the younger ones being worse than the older ones. I always pick the line staffed by the oldest looking agent. Not in love with Vancouver anymore - it's become just another big city with all the big city ugliness you see south of your border. And 5 Guys are way overrated. But great nature, clean air..

I voted for Trump twice . And I will again should he win the 2024 nomination , because I feel like we are in a Election War , we are completely divided as majority on what we want as a country . But Trump could speak some real Bafoon crap , Biden does the same thing, I didn’t think Biden would after being a politician 35 years , but he does .

It’s just the times we are in right now , each side is trying to get majority power so that side prevails in what they want as the governing for the country ...

I can't blame you for 2016, but by 2020 he was a horse of a different colour. Biden is obviously bent and out of touch, he ought to go, but even as a lame duck president, will not go quietly into the night. Unfortunately, without Congess, House or Senate means that almost nothing will get done for next two years and the ceiling cap on the US debt will inflict serious pain. Y'all been living off the fat of the land for too long IMO ...it's time to pay the piper.

I used to like Japan (esp the women, lol), and it's nature is marvellous, particularly up in Hokkaido. I lived on Honshu, Tohuku prefecture, and could not wait to take trips into the mountains or to the seaside. I have no desire to visit Vancouver, nor Toronto for that matter. Big cities are all just concrete jungles IMO.

2020 was even worse that 2016 IMO , faced with this current economy Biden has unleashed, or Trump , the voting political war was already on with no end in sight , and it looks the same for 2024 right now. I knew Trump could keep the economy rolling, I knew Biden was going to trash the economy. Both talk smack , can people get to 2024 now without a big economical collapse ? We will see, it doesn’t look good just two years in though. I can’t do much about all the fussing in DC between the two parties . But if given a vote, I can try and save my life savings from being stripped over a failed economy. And as long as the Leftist continue to vow for Socialism - Marxism in the US , I will vote against them every time, no matter who the Republican presidential candidate is , because with that person , I still have a chance in living in the country that I was born into as opposed to 1800s ideology doctrines that are foreign to me.

Bullshit.
The man was attacked by an intruder "Seeking" to kill Nancy.
Stop with crazy right wing bullshit. Musk and people who repeat that bullshit is what is really wrong here.

I’ve got a very good feeling you are going to be back in here about November 9th fully charged , looking forward to some good political debating.

TBH had Trump just kept his mouth shut, he'd prob still have a job. People just got sick of his narcissism. The economy was rolling along just fine until Covid. The bailout, I mean stimulus money, each and every one of you guys got in your pocket was bizarre, even by Canadian standards. Many people here got CERB (economic relief benefit), but I never saw a dime. Didn't need it, I worked from home, but no surprise the US debt soared. Lots of folks having to pay back CERB. Do you?

Could 🍊man have handled things better? He knew the situation months ahead of everyone, even told Barron. I guess he was too busy being im🍑. Orange man peached, lol, get it? :xf.laugh:

I think the economy was headed for collapse Covid or no Covid. It has systemic issues, and Covid (or whatever other event comes along) is just a convenient excuse. Covid payouts and shutdowns certainly moved the timeline forward. Payouts were generous in Japan, including zero-interest loans for businesses. No reason not to take advantage of that. They get paid back in yen that has lost 30% of its value so far (more to come).

The whole "raise the interest rates" scam is just a sideshow for most countries. Rampant money printing, out of control government (and consumer) spending, corruption and anti-business policies will sink most Western economies - the US being the final and biggest domino to fall. Doesn't matter who is president - it's already coded in.

At this point, the only question is which countries will recover relatively quickly after the dust settles and which countries will stay in an extended decline.

I was honestly shocked that the stimulus checks were across the board to everyone, same here, I didn’t need the stimulus , I was still working , then out go a rush of 1st stimulus checks. I am saying to myself , wtf man? Why isn’t the US gov at least taking a look who needs them and who really doesn’t , Bam! 2nd Stimulus check, I am shaking my head saying , what in hell is going on. I even called my local gov office and asked them , why is “everyone” getting stimulus checks?? I was told it is an Fed emergency order. I just shook my head once again , nope, no one is paying back on the stimulus checks received as of yet .

I kept telling my wife, if they took our $2,400 x 2 checks and distributed it to someone who was buried in debt because they couldn’t pay their bills , it all would make some kind of sense , vette a little bit and distribute the money into the correct hands that are in dire need.

To this day, it still makes no sense to me, so

US debt is $31T atm, that's almost $100K/citizen or $250K/taxpayer :xf.eek: Unfrackin' believable!!

Although, it says assets/citizen is around $500K, not so bad then, right?

Canada is $1000/second = $32K/citizen (approx. same amount I pay in taxes/year) wtf, still nothing to sneeze at 🤧

If you dare to look: https://usdebtclock.org/index.html?

Been there, done that... was almost gangbanged, until they saw my license plate, lol. The boys in the hood said, "Let him go, his people helped us escape on the Underground Railroad." Otherwise it would've been game over.

Ever been to polar bear country? 🐻‍❄️

Good luck

If Trump runs in 2024 and wins (or doesn't win), I'd wager there'll be more Americans moving north to Canada ...just as they did in 2016.
