When I press the “agree” button on a comment the disagree button goes away …can a statement not have both?
Or, is it that we need to add more options (which are coming soon), such as:Is there ever a time when you both agree and disagree with the same part?

- Indifferent
- Undecided

In a way I suppose it does cancel each other and leave a member with “0 points” for the comment :oHello,
If you agree with part(s) of the post and disagree with other part(s) of the post, it'd probably make more sense to quote those part(s) and respond to each individually.
The goal of those quick responses (e.g., Agree) is to provide additional information without cluttering the thread, but if you add both "Agree" and "Disagree," then it's almost the same as adding neither, right? They kind of cancel each other out.
Is there ever a time when you both agree and disagree with the same part?
Let's discuss.
Unless different buttons give different amount of points…? But I still would not go over 2 points per an “emotion”In a way I suppose it does cancel each other and leave a member with “0 points” for the comment :o
Sorry I’m brainstorming..I was too late to edit the last post….Unless different buttons give different amount of points…? But I still would not go over 2 points per an “emotion”

Merely because I read a comment where I agreed with a member but I also disagreed on some parts..so I just thought maybe it’s unnecessary for the opposite button to disappear..a lot of things are controversialWhen you wrote this, why did you want to Agree and Disagree on the same post?
Please share your thought process.
Not everyone is open to sharing/writing/inspecting every word…I like buttons : )If you agree with part(s) of the post and disagree with other part(s) of the post, it'd probably make more sense to quote those part(s) and respond to each individually.
I ended up sticking with my dislikes last night ..I was being a little sour :/Alop, you made me laugh.
Perhaps NP techies could create a special button just for you that automatically flips from disagree to agree after a few hours have passed?
You do have a history...
