Interestingly, when I entered "247" into Baidu search, I found quite a few places where 247 actually has the same meaning as in the West: 24/7. For example, Skysea (广州天海网络公司) has three game platform websites all focusing on the concept of 24/7: DQ247.com, QU247.com, and YA247.com. Promoting 247 as 24/7 should appeal to end users both in the East and the West. My 2c.

In Chinese there is 7 days in a week. Also they used a 24 hour clock. I dont think there is 12 inch in a foot there.

287 and 387 have no significant meaning, only bus company use 287 and 387 as their bus route, such as Shenyang No. 287 bus and Beijing No.387 bus.
