A simple typo.

so I was searching for some domains related to Appalachian. I typed Appalachin.com instead, in the search box. It showed available so I registered just for the heck of it. Should I have just let it go?

i would let it go as its a waste of $ and of no use really. Ive had typos b4 and none were of any value or use. imo

Don't chase obvious brands for typos try something like wwwweddings. Unless you have a lander for the traffic you make relevant content etc is it is a waster. As when your finished with it you drop it. Whatever traffic you sell you need to enough of it to receive a check and usually need many streams to achieve this. I am guessing everyone will talk about ppc but you need lots and lots of clicks.
