Anybody buy a better gTLD today than prominent Chicago Attorney, Jeffery Leving? According to Whois he registered www.Sanctuary.City.

Mr. Leving own FathersRights.com and has made a small fortune in Chicago Law. Looks like more 'smart money' is flowing into premium single word gTLD's.

According to Google the search term "sanctuary city" currently pays over $6 per click! When the topic is in the news, as it will be during this election cycle, it gets a ton of exact-match searches.

Yes, it currently forwards to another website. Maybe that because it was registered just one day ago, or maybe he wants to drive traffic more type-in traffic to his existing site. Lots of potential with this exact-match, high value name.

Who knows maybe Donald Trump and Harry Reid will get into a bidding war on this one.

You just used the phrase "type-in traffic" with a .city and I think you were serious. You should probably read more and maybe one day you'll understand how completely ridiculous that was. You actually think .city's are getting type in traffic? Plus, as I pointed out, sanctuary city means something different than what his site is about.

Some random person on the internet bought some random new gtld, that doesn't even match, to forward to their .com. And you thought that was thread worthy for some reason.

Yes, a lot of potential for the new domains. Just a point, you said he bought the name and he registered it, that's two different things. If you buy a name, you buy it from someone else.
