I don't.

But there are many factors to it (I referred to amount made, not profits made). And the word 'lot' is relative.

they made a lot of money eh? somehow i doubt that..would have to sell a pretty high volume of pricey domains to make a lot of money. either that or sell a craptop of low quality ones.

profit is what counts, we all know that. having lots of money passing through your hands without making anything doesn't mean a whole lot. i dont knock them for trying, but lets be realistic they even said it wasnt working for them.

Hello MrSpartan,

It's the start of a new week at Bido, so we have reset your complimentary voting points to 0. You have all week to use these points to vote on inventory that you wish to see go to auction.

If something that you voted on sells, you become a partner in the profits. So be sure to use the credits and vote on inventory at Bido wisely. The first person to vote on an item earns the most. So be sure to check what's been submitted on a regular basis to find the gems first.

If you use up your complimentary voting points, you may exchange 1 Bido Credit for 2220 additional voting points.

To learn more about the Vote For Profits program, view the payout scale, and try the earning calculator, please click here:

Bido offers a downloadable file of what's been submitted, view it and vote now at Bido.com - Domain Name Auctions

After a few months of being away, Bido is back in business. We missed you, don't ever doubt it.

We're excited to continue where we left off, in order to further the platform, promote social auctions, and present auctions of items that are in demand. People from the old staff will continue to serve you and to the Bido community, as before, and with a refreshed spirit.

We've moved into a shiny new server space and rebuilt our auction architecture. The front end has stayed the same and everything you have become familiar with on Bido is where you'll remember it to be. We've also planned a few improvements and new features that we'll unveil in the near future. We're committed to the continuing improvement of Bido.

Please follow our main Twitter account for information on upcoming enhancements and the most active auctions:
http://www.twitter.com/Bido

We also have these sub accounts where we will announce some featured items up for auction and for voting:
http://www.twitter.com/BidoAuctions
http://www.twitter.com/BidoVoting

And if you liked Bido before, become a fan on our Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bido/162430367111714

We have also a new official blog, please bookmark it and add it to your reader: http://blog.bido.com

As part of the transition to make Bido better, we're very eager to hear your feedback. We encourage anyone who would like to be a part of the evolution of Bido to kindly send us your thoughts and ideas. Our feedback portal can be found here: http://feedback.bido.com

If you have any questions or comments about your account, our auctions, or the transition overall, please be sure to get a hold of us via our support desk: http://support.bido.com

We're looking forward to seeing you on the platform. If you're interested in a tour of the system to learn all about how Bido works, please reach out and we'll be glad to walk through it together with you.

Now is a great opportunity to bid on domains currently listed on Bido, as well as to list your domains that are for sale. They'll have some good exposure. Visit the site and load your domains into the system: http://www.bido.com/SubmitDomains.

Regards,
Jarred and
The Bido Team

I can see that you are trying to increase the quality of domains that go to auction. You rised the the standard minimum price from $28 to $38. That's good.

How about all those rubbish extensions? Can you please limit non-com extensions to maximum 10% of com's. When I see so many domains other than come, I just close the page.

Welcome back Bido I look forward to the daily auctions and I hope you guys are here to stay this time around. I sold and bought a few domains on Bido and it was fun bidding in the live chat or watching to see if your domain had got a bid before the time ran out.

Jarred I do have a few questions could I possibly email you them?

I am very happy to see Bido active again! Of course, it will need some time to attract members again, but i believe it will be done soon.

I dont agree that just .com domains are good for Bido. No offense Erdinc. It seems you are from UK, so i am sure you are aware how strong .co.uk is. And there are so many other strong extension. Yesterday we could see that Billig .de didnt sold at Sedo even for bid of 375000 EUR ! And it is obvious that is not .com ;)

Also, many lower quality extensions have their buyers. Some average name in .cc for example would not be sold for $x.xxx, but could get $38 or sometimes even $xxx.

I would like just that Bido disable multiple submitting domains for voting. As some members submit hundreds of them at once, and that is real junk, not "non .com" extensions.

Bido is not the place where you want to sell a real premium .com domain (at the moment), so if i would own tyres.com for instance, i would definately not submit it at Bido.

With .com domains is problem that all generic names are already taken, and most of domainers have just some "junk" .com domains and i would rather see at Bido premium name in other extensions than some junk name with many words in .com extension.

Just my opinion ;)

I was going to try the voting thing but I gave up. All I want to see is a simple list of domains but that's not the case. The table rows are too high. There are only 10 domains on whole screen. You have to continuously scroll down and wait until it loads more to see the rest of domains.

I much prefer the basic list on this page:
http://www.bido.com/Auctions

They should add the voting buttons here too. Also I would like to see some checkboxes to filter extensions. I am not going to type the extension. Also I would like to save those settings. For instance if I check only the .com checkbox I want this setting to remain when I visit the next time.
