Domain question...

I have a small issue with a domain name. I have a celeb who has asked us to develop her site. However, her domain name (her legal name) has been purchased by some off shore company and has been used/misused for several year.

I contacted the owner of the domain and they requested an outragous amount of money for the dot.com so I need some input on how to handle this case.

Tell the celebrity to retain an attorney who deals with this and use the UDRP.
Her challenge, though, is to prove that her legal name has acquired enough
familiarity that people will indeed associate anything bearing her name with
her self, and that the domain itself is being used commercially in any way.

Larry King can use the UDRP to try get this name back. But will he able to get
the domain Lawrence Harvey Zeiger.com back?

Well...you've 2 options, the National Arbitration Forum or World Intellectual
Property Organization. Again, the actress is better off retaining an attorney
for that.

If the registrant is also US-based, NAF's a better choice.
