Has anyone had any experience with Domainer.com, or know anything about them? Pros and cons as opposed to just parking somewhere?

So, the question is; Who's got the big picture in your company? Any sales force, consultant, VP of Operations, Press Speaker, Customer Service Specialist,...anyone?
As a developer, it makes perfect sense that you have other things to do and that it's not quite your job, yet your company is dropping valuable chances to gain traction if no one is adequately representing Domainer.com.

Hi IntelBank.com,

We concluded our initial investment funding less than two months ago and are in the process of finishing our first round of hires.

Before we finished the funding, we were working on a shoe string budget; hiring additional employees was tough to swallow.

We have since been interviewing business associates and are in the mists of finishing this process up.

Meanwhile, I enjoy participating in these discussions, answering questions, and will continue to do so until our new associates get up to speed.

Cheers
The Domainer Team

Hi

I recently submitted a few names.

It looks like an amazing platform and its the new age of parking which we all want

I hope you are not the next imodo where they tease everyone, no responses back and in early beta. I had given up with them.

I look forward in getting an answer soon. I have many sector areas to submit and gave you 10 or so solid names

Thanks. Keep up the great work and responding here. Welcome to name pros!

i submitted mainly .com names all they want is big boy volume type inn

Well

My above post was a good one and there platform.

I submitted my names and guess what folks. They got rejected because they either don't want to work to hard on my names, no platform built for my names like eccomerece terms related to print cartridges

They prefer all type inn traffic by email response by them. Told them in email there is not much traffic.

Domainer posts above not all type inn names require. Then they reject me for not having type in traffic or its to hard

Not exactly a good impression when there beta and trying get respect by domainers here.

All they care about are the volume players and type in traffic

Then they said in email there a small company. Ok I am a small company as well but not with vc money

They will cherry pick you and probably not get approved.

Oh well life goes. Was willing bring over a few eccomerce related terms to them and couple days ago I was impressed. 180 degree turn.

They post here, non type in traffic is ok above and after names. Well that's not true. Mixed signals.

Just my thoughts. I am actually seeing type in traffic in some names.

Beta is beta. I know that. But if there cherry picking things like type in traffic tell people that. Or tell them no eccomerce related terms.

Good luck folks in submitting a common .com name.

Unless they decide to change there mind in approving me I will write that up. But after this post they will probably not.

I wish them well. I do. Nice platform. But which way are you going folks?

I have heard and see what you(domainer.com) do from these posts and your site. I do not think you are serious business. Since you never talk about the payment details on your site or even here that you were asked (you gave a generic answer that it is not a valid answer of a company).
the only think i see from you is... give us your solid domains.

Well I know they are a serious business. Couple high profile domainers back them up and there vc money

Your right. Very common statements I am seeing.

Who are you guys going after? Big domainers like frank? Why are you on name pros?

I have over 560 domain names. Seeing type in traffic and some traffic. I am a rookie at heart and proud of it. I learned a Lot here. If they don't want me that's fine. Life goes on.

I sense they are trying to become a company like hit farm success over night, or fab or traffic z and cater to people like that. That's fine but get your mission statement right.

Just my 2 cents folks. I don't know all the answers. I like there platform but there is zero chance I am going transfer over 100 names, some type in traffic names where its wishy washy. They came out to post to early I feel and etc

Note - they didn't come here trawling for business; someone entered an item asking if anyone had heard of them, and, seeing the referrals in their site logs, they came here to respond to the questions.

That said, I was a tad put off by the response I got back to my emailed inquiry as well, and probably will not be contacting them again. We probably wouldn't be a good fit. But that doesn't mean they aren't a good and honest company, and that they wouldn't be a good fit for anyone/everyone else. That is, after all, why there's both chocolate and vanilla.

I sumbitted my sites and they responded with an interest in some of them. Not sure if anything will come of it but I like their platforms and it's worth exploring.

Hi again:

I thought I'd pop in to have a look at the thread, as it had been more or less dead in the water for a few days.

Lo-and-behold, it's active again; so here I go:

As I’ve said before and it should be made known, Domainer Inc. is young. As with every young company, we need to do things correctly as often as possible; avoiding as many mistakes as we can foresee. In terms of accepting a possible name for the people who are submitting them, specific types of names appeal to us at the moment.

I would like to point out that the auto application that we’re building will be host to a few dozen car/truck/vehicle-type names, some with little existing traffic. The thing about traffic that makes it more appealing, quite obviously, is that it gives us a head start.

The platform we’ve built is, as you say jeffoverman, still in its beta stage. When we choose to run with a domain, we’re actually building a website. From our perspective, it’s more than a parking platform. For example, if you have a domain, say, Dentistry.com, we’d be out there looking for people blogging about the industry; we’d investigate that niche on the web and would govern our decisions based on our findings.

At current moment, it takes a few hours to bang out every website. As well, we spend time updating to add new content and try to improve performance. So we’re forced to be choosey and we certainly do not intend to bruise any egos.

Make no mistake; we are very grateful for the attention we’re receiving from inquiring domainers. We simply do not have the luxury of running with every decent name out there.

Thank you, netmeg, for pointing out what I’ve been here for and I am sorry we don’t have a solution for you at the moment. I hope you wouldn’t mind if we contact you down the road if one of your names fits the profile of what we’re looking for; as you have said, chocolate and vanilla. We may not be your flavour at the moment, but give us time; there is reason to believe we may be…

Thank you for giving us reason to reflect and consider and for showing your interest, everyone. We are doing this for you guys. Our president realized a few years ago that there is little to nothing out there for domainers to develop their names into a real entity.

As a company, we’ve had a couple of different shots at this. We finally think we’ve found our niche and are doing our best to expand it. Your patience is appreciated and we won’t be going away. Sit tight, I believe Domainer Inc. is just getting started.

Cheers
The Domainer Team

Dentistry.com

Perfect example. Type in traffic.

That's ok. There after that. I just wish he said all this from the get go and not confuse namepro members like myself that has traffic but do not own a 100k or more .com

I do wish them the best but folks, the common domainer that isn't doing 1000 views on a domain imodo works just as well. I am happy there and they won me over Anyways.

Domainer I just wish you said all that from the get go. Why mention non traffic name or type in traffic above and results are showing. That's what I am turned off by.

Just say this on your site. We are very selective, custom build sites that takes hours to build. We cater to type in traffic like candy.cc

I am ok with that. Its not my league.

That's my point. Being a business owner as well, I do wish you well. Glad you raised money. Hope you succeed in this very competitive area being a park company.

In my experience, yes. Give them a week or so to take a look at them. I think they've been inundated from NPers, so probably a bit backlogged.

Good luck.
