advice First domain

hi guys ..i'm about to register my first domain ..
the domain is 2 short words ..6 letters ..has a meaning ..i think potential.
i checked namecheap ,godaddy.
namecheap has better price with free whois privacy .7 $ cheaper ( or i'm missing something ?)
any advices ? ..other sites to check? coupons ..etc ?

so what makes godaddy better even with higher price? is it easier for transfering and pushing ?
also what about .net domains coupon ?

GoDaddy's first year is cheaper. You mention privacy... If you are interested in letting potential buyers find who owns that domain name, privacy is not the way to go.
