and news GPT .com sold for over $40k,
chatgpt.com valued at $29 bio. recently,

its maybe time to have a small but dedicated thread for GPT.

I just checked your link and OpenAI have a TM for “GPT” since around Feb 1st 23

Does this mean that they have exclusive right to all GPT names relating to generative pretrained transformers?

I am asking as many companies are now using "KeywordGPT" in their branding (or even web domain).
I have also started to receive interesting offers for my KeywordGPT names.

If someone here is well-versed in TM law, please feel free to send your feedback on this question.

Yes in some way, if they will offer the same Products and Services, if the P and S are different then I doubt they will be in trouble.
Also this is an acronym that mean allot of different things, but the issue is that there will be not be much interest into GPT after the trademark, because no one will be able to offer the same P and S under this acronym.

That is why people my advice is go invent your money into something new of your own, example brands that are unique and hard to repeat or duplicate.
Other option is Chat + word or word + Chat, but something else not GPT exactly. I have some Chat domains in com and 2 most important domains in the world in .chat so i m fine.
