Now showing up as

bettrade.com $117 $10 201 Closed on 2014/12/18

117 was the 1st bid by bidder 7. Glitch in system or did they really wipe those bids that quickly?

They go back to the first legitimate bid. Same thing for non-payers.

But $117 was a bidder 7 bid, the same bidder who bid $1,005,000

Who the hell would pay that amount for it..come on...
I hope their accounts will be banned as Godaddy really needs to clean up their bidders

It is a good name for a betting exchange, big money business

Maybe bidder 7 was willing to pay a million and just got the break of a lifetime, lol.

Right that's why I thought it odd for bidder 7, and who was bidder 9 ? They bid higher ? It really is crazy no verification in place to bid $1million. It is time to revamp, same for Flippa, a lot of money is spent, bidder ids and verifications that match the person and their payment account.

Now the name has been removed from watchlist. Renewed points to a wordpress blog.

Bidder #7 can't (or won't) pay more than $117, so uses a shill account (bidder 8) to bid it up quickly and scare away competing bids. Others might have gone much higher than $117, but would have been scared off by the escalating bids. When the dust is settled, bidder #7 gets the name on the cheap.

At least that's what I would suspect.

If I was the seller, I'd have to be left on my own for a period of time...whilst I cried like a baby! haha.

Wow that renewal was instantaneous....almost like the domain owners were shill bidding to get publicity and sell at a higher price.

The whois says "do not contact us unless a 6 figure offer:"

I guess they wanted to convince the public that it is worth 7 figures. lol

@TLDInvestors It looks like it was listed but then renewed by the current owner which cancelled the listing. ^KJ

Imagine if the police replied like that...

A: I think I witnessed a murder. 3 guys grabbed a woman, dragged her into a car, and I heard gunshots before they drove away. Last thing I noticed was their license plate number, which 12-3444, and that they had a parking ticket on the windshield.

B: They have since paid for that parking ticket, so the case would appear to be settled. Can I help you with anything else?

I was looking to bid on this but was thrown away by those ridiculous bids. The buyers got a good deal imo.
