I'm the only one who thinks this kind of disturbs the market?

I see only auctions. Where is those $280 domains? Can you provide the links?
some good domains there.
A $8 name selling for 280 is 35 X and if you can pull it off in volume, it must be a viable business for them, otherwise they won't be doing it.
Also all these names come up in SAV auctions at expiry and many do sell for 10-100
Damn.. Just saw best crypto. There is definitely somebody who prices a bunch of their domains at $280 BIN regardless of value... I know this because I regularly buy their crypto domains and relist them for $3000+. Just last week I bought BitcoinLoan.co and CoinLoan.co from them. They are all registered at GoDaddy, but many of them have a SAV lander. I assume they are drop catching the names themselves (cost of hand reg) and just trying to sell as many as possible as quickly as possible.
Even though I enjoy flipping their names for a hefty profit, overall their pricing strategy is annoying. For example: normally I would list BestCrypto.org for approx $1795 since it is a nice name registered in 53 extensions, but because they have BestCrypto.net listed for $280 I felt the need to reduce my price to $795.
2) I have observed this regging at drop, over time. Reminds me of the names I registered in my first year. Might be slightly profitable overall due to Sav low price.
3) They might be using Sav backordering, I guess.

The names that are showing up in Sav auctions, are they all registered at Sav? Or are you seeing domains registered elsewhere <such as: Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu> appearing on Sav expired auctions?
Find out why Sav.com registered wit GodaddyAlmost all .coms are registered outside SAV, but why does it matter?
I don't want to add to the speculation, but you are most likely wrong in what you are refuting.

I have the same problem as you. One of my ORG had a buyer offer $800 a year ago. I rejected it, although I regret it, I am still think that someone will buy it someday in the future. I set the domain BIN price at $1200. Until recently, the potential buyer offered me $200 via email, he said that he bought the same NET domain name for only 280 dollars and my ORG is not as good as NET.I no longer think anyone will buy it if the price is $1200.In the end I really sold it for $200.There is definitely somebody who prices a bunch of their domains at $280 BIN regardless of value...
