Hi;

As you know, Namejet has buyers but it is not easy to be listed on Namejet auctions. In NamePros, there are many members with great domains which will probably sell with better price on Namejet.

@JB Lions suggested in one topic, we can choose hand picked names of various members and submit to Namejet as NamePros community. I think they will be happy to list if we manage this well.

Let's all cooperate and make this happen.

Steps:
1. Every member post their own 1 good domain in this topic
2. Other members upvotes the domains they like to be listed in Namejet auction until determined date (will be determined until finalizing steps)
3. 10 of Highest upvoted domains will be decided all together and listed in this topic
4. Listed domains will be auctioned on Namejet with the help of NP members who knows some high rank people at Namejet
5. Owners of chosen domains will make money :)
6. The process will be repeated once/twice a month

This is how I come up with solution. You are always welcome to tell your opinions and help to make this happen smoother and more efficient way.

@JB Lions @wentzco @Michael @UniflexDomains Let me know what do you think about this?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
The problem is one person would have to organize it, and it would have to be someone that everyone trusts. Selected domains would have to be transferred to eNom and then pushed to that person's account before being auctioned, that person would receive the payments from NameJet and have to distribute them to the sellers, it requires a lot of trust.

By way of example, if there are 10 domains that would sell for an average of $1,000 each that's $10k. The person organizing might be able to get a 5% margin from NameJet at best, may be as low as 2.5%. So he's coordinating all of this and dealing with pushes, scheduling with NJ, payments and accounting for $250 to $500. Not terribly attractive, even with crowd sourcing the picks and assuming good domains are submitted.

It's hard to manage too because the cycle is so long at NJ. Once you have the list and submit it to NJ it might take a week to get on the schedule, then they might not enter pre-release for another week or two, then 30 days of back orders, then a three day auction, then 42 days before payout, then more time for the person to distribute funds to sellers. By the time you start paying people there are probably 4-5 more sets of names that have been selected and are in various stages.

Thank you so much for detailed explanation.

I didn't consider parts you indicated. Like you described, it sounds difficult to organize all. Maybe, one member comes up with a solution.
