What do you call something that within four days of its inception surpasses 1000 duels and the making of champions? What is it called when a community with over 1 million members lay in suspense for 27 days, wondering what would be wrought upon them at the final countdown? What do you call it when the blood of the ancients within us is awoken to lead the charge into battle? And what is it, when domainers of all shapes and colours, and statures and positions, are given an arena to answer the great call: Duel!

Legendary is what it's called.. The stuff fables are made of. The brave, the weak, the stoic, the courageous and meek, the loud and the shy, have all a tale to tell for the generations to come, of the year Namepros created the greatest April Fool's gag this side of virtual history. Never before have we seen so many domainers come together in a comradery display of curses and healing, attacks and defenses for a claim of victory over our worthy opponent.

It is called legendary, when the combatants have at their disposal such glorious weapons; boom sticks, cctlds, exact match domains, lawsuits and even sexy photos to name a few, and resources such as konami codes and vaccines with which to build a defense. They can throw a ninja, or be cursed by a sentient toaster. Heck you can even bribe someone with an electric bill.

What do you call the rush from the -999 hit of doom, taken or given? It is legend. It is the Namepros Duel Games. And it is awesome. Thank you guys, from all of us. Especially Paul. Now if only you would have had tardigrades in there somewhere. Oh, wait. Of course, why wouldn't there be?

* congrats on Axc & Bob Hawkes, 1000th Dual.

Here's how the Random Winners were selected:
  1. We created a list (below) of every username on the Leaderboard.
  2. There are 170 lines (including duplicate usernames) in that list.
  3. We used random.org to generate two random numbers from 1 to 170.
  4. The winners were found at those randomly-generated line numbers.
So, players had a better chance of being awarded a Random Winner prize if they appeared on the leaderboard in more distinct categories.

It was a brilliant idea, well implemented, with generous prizes.
All the stats compiled and presented was impressive.
I agree with sentiment others expressed that this has made our community stronger.
Thank you very much!

I feel grateful to starting this thread, we were really very excited about the Green Timer, waiting for 30 days ends up with a great game that helps community to share and learn more about themselves and some keywords ofcourse...

During my battles i clicked for almost all those underlined keywords and redirected those websites to get some idea about the industry. Kinda domain industry time-machine. (my reward was the information i got, which is priceless)

Thanks everyone (from mods to users) who have been contributed..

Look forward for the next 1st April !

Best,
Olcayto

Hello,

The first prize has been awarded. The Architects claimed, "Nobody Decent Ever Wins The Game," but you proved them wrong!

More prizes to come to some with a combination of skill and luck.

Who will win the next prize?

Time will tell.

Love this. We need a Love reaction. (The chemical reaction already took place.)

is Mr Rabbit one of the hidden easter eggs? or has it always been there and I just found it now by accident? haha
That particular one is from 2016's April Fools' prank:
There may be another one for this year. :xf.wink:

I don't get this Game.

You attack or defend in the top box, and choose the risk in the bottom box.
The odds are rather random... there's a LOT of luck involved.

•••
Sry @Future Sensors had to go research how to fend off these tardigrade attacks.. apparently not much you can do, they are super-resilient. Pretty sure I dropped one in @Joe N 's coffee..

what did you win?

hell I would be happy enough with a year worth of premium membership here for my sheer luck in max damage category lol

I won a prize for winning the first game.

You may be in line for a Darwin Award if you keep making risky moves ;)

Challenge accepted!
