So I got the new scam email this morning.... Got an email from Godaddy about a domain name I've never owned through Godaddy.
Apparently it's just a spoof email forwarded to godaddysrenawal.xyz instead of godaddy.com that wants you to "renew" your domain name.... mine was a US domain with a renewal price of $70 a year, about $60 more than the normal renewal price, but through Godaddy $70 a year sounds about right.
I would report this to Godaddy myself but I've wasted so much time in the past being ignored over stuff like this. Godaddy has shown repeatedly they don't care about stuff like this..... in fact, I'm starting to believe Godaddy is involved in the scams.....
why else would a company KNOWINGLY let their clients be conned....
Godaddy hasn't cared for years.... I've wasted loads of time trying to report these scammers to them, but since it does no good, I will report directly here.
