Last week we saw 71 newly funded startups that raised a combined $230,582,000 in funding but also faced the challenge to name and “domain” themselves. One of the things I’ve learned since I started to research and write about newly funded startups and their domain name choices at the beginning of this year is that many of the companies that gain healthy traction and go one to raise additional rounds of capital will go through a re-naming process and/or do a domain name upgrade later on.
