Places to Register .COM's for less than $5

Can we list any places where members can register a new .com or I guess transfers as well here but must be less than $5. If any codes or deals appear, please post here as I prefer to use the cheapest but reliable place to register or renew as I have over 40 domains and I have to keep prices as low as possible and No i don't want to join discount clubs....

also, please only list legit and reliable companies, not new ones that just sprung up in last few weeks offering super low prices...

Not many people recommend 1&1. But I think they had a $1 first year .com sale. GoDaddy runs sales under $5 every now and then. Namecheap offered domains for $5.98 for a week or two.
