I believe I recently came across: http://www.directnic.com
that is taking registrations for the ".NAME's".
I know there are others, as well. Depending on your objectives for the registration(s), it may or may not be a good investment, IMHO. Check with your favorite Registrar to see if they are taking them, too ... for both convenience and pricing.

Thanks, but I'm looking for second level domain.

On January 14, the .NAME Registry will change it's rules to allow second level domains to be registered. This means that you can now register and own yourdomain.name for the first time.

Personally, no.

It was never meant to be a speculated new extension. More for presents to new mothers for their babies.
