Also I am aware it is a 2 word .net domain with no value at all! I bet .uk would have been a better extension. Considering the mentioned facts, what do you folks think the price should be.

Why would it be a hot topic now? There currently is not a person that is the President Elect (of course I am looking at it only from a USA perspective, but that would seem to be where that hot topic talk is coming from.

So it is a dot net that relevant only once every four years for a few months.
