for me, most of them just ramdom LLLL, there still have lots of them avai. for reg, also, I noticed there a lots of people sell LLLL very cheap....

so I believe such analysis can benefit all of us..at least educate the newbie like me...

Well for one, some of them can stand for something such as: cpay.com, which can stand for Credit Card Payments, etc.

Secondly, some of those are brandable, short, and easy to remember.

And third and most important, is that some companies are made up of 4 words, which acronyms will be 4 letters, and then they buy out that particular domain.

The reason letters such as q,z,y,x,etc are less valuable are because the opposite of everything I just said. They usually don't stand for anything. They aren't easy to remember, and most companies aren't made up of 4 words that start with q,z,y,x,etc. So people know there is a less chance of selling them to somebody that needs the domain, and therefore the value is less.

Great thread malaysia :) I think threads like these are very helpful in helping to give a better idea of what is really selling and for how much.

It also helps when bidding in drops or for coming up with a more realistic "potential" selling price IMO.

Jazu.com just sold at snapnames for $525 - I would've liked that one :xf.love:
No prizes for guessing who !

i guess its nice to share so everyone have a rough idea what are the prices of LLLL.coms even for non dictionary words.. the possibility of LLLL.coms are big coz not all can afford a LLL.coms so some may seek the LLLL.com paying for example paying $1000 for a LLLL.com than minimum $2200 for a LLL.com quite reasonable i guess..

yes, but fbex sold for 6k and I think that rexd.com sold for 1.5k on afternic.

I think it depends on if it is somewhat pronouncable and brandable.
