I registered a domain with their SUPERINFO deal last week. They charged my Paypal account right away, but to this day the domain has not been registered.

if no one give'em a chance...they'll never be a good registrar....

We all gave them a chance, that's how we know how horrible they are.

I am unable to renew ANY domain from my account! I have opened a support ticket 5 days ago! No one answered it! I am on hold on the phone with them for over 30 minutes! They are stealing my domains! I am out of options here!!! What can I do?! I have hundreds of domains with them!

webcom: the exact same thing is happening to me right now! .. they're charging my credit-card without renewing, it's soon expiring and they are not answering support.

It's extremely frustrating.

Just a warning to everyone who is considering RegisterFly - it's not worth it! You do not want to be in this situation me and webcom are in right now. And yes, IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU TOO.

Exactly the same is happening with me. 2 very valuable domains (well, to me) have expired and they won't renew, won't answer any support calls, but are all too keen to take the money from my account. :$:

Until they get their act together, DO NOT touch RegisterFly with a barge-pole.

Never. Buy. If. You. Want. Things. Done. Fast.!

Wow...I visited them because of the 75 cent .info special, and I registered a .info. This was last night. I was billed, and it isnt in my account. I called them, couldnt get a person.

support is not there anytime

They suspended my account saying it's connected to another account that didn't pay for a domain and they don't reply to me at all while i'm trying to make them open the account and pay them for the domain which is causing the problem

they never reply via e-mails or chat (always busy or offline)

In my experience you always have to do your order twice at regfly. First time you pay and put in the names. When you are finished with that and it says domains are being registered, have a look in your shopping cart. Most of the time it will still contain your order. Now go through with the order a second time and this time your account will contain the credit from before and the registration should go through..

At least that is my experience.

AVOID REGISTERFLY...PERIOD! -Failed Renewals, Lost Domains, Stolen Monies, NO Support

Registerfly failed to renew my domains after payment and kept the money. When questioned about it my balance went down even more! No resolution despite multiple attempts to contact them. Later, upon checking my account I find SIX domains are completely missing from my account. Absolutely awful Registrar...

I couldn't renew some of my domains, so I filled a support request. I was told that the renewal request was being processed. 2 weeks later, still nothing. What kind of service is this? I'm a customer since 2002... but only my worse domains are there now...

I called ICANN regarding them, and I am visiting their offices this week. I already have a nasty letter all written out; will post that later today. Any ideas on what I should say when I am there?

Great discount coupons, but very slow loading and a lot of tech problems

RegisterFly has a lot of cheap coupons which is probably the only good thing about it and the nice interface. However, there are more problems than the good's. There are a lot of technical problems, and a lot of features don't work at all. Such as you have to manually enable each whois protection as the bulk enabling isn't working at all. The website loads very slowly. A pain to trying to update some information. Overall it is good and bad.

As to regard of the renewal many people have frustrated with, there are a lot of known issues about unable to renew because of RegisterFly was once eNom's. :( So a lot of people who had domains with before RegisterFly left eNom, there are a lot of complains and problems :td:

Unprofessional, Unreliable, Unethical -- #1 WORST REGISTRAR ONLINE

Their prices sucker you into using them but...

1.) THEIR SUPPORT IS TRASH. They can't even speak proper English at times.

2.) Unethical -- I learned about them via SPAM that THEY SENT ME back in 2001.

3.) Their bulk tools rarely work the way they are supposed to.

4,) Their site is SLOW -- AND I'M ON DSL!

5.) Their interface is confusing.

Do you need me to continue? Do a search here on NP -- the only ppl who give good complements are noobs who don't know any better.

Exactly. We gave them a chance and they wiped their @$$ with it. What more can we do?

Rofl, Lmao, Lol and many bursts of laughter. This just happened to me. It never happened to me with any other registars. Except with a minor glitch at namecheap of a comp glitch they had(I got the name though)

I think RegFly is good but needs alot of Imporvement

Well normally i dont go with Domain Registrars that people seem to hate but.. I think registerfly isnt that bad. I have had only one minor problem with them and it ended with me getting my money back in less then 3 days.. They are quick but their services and support are horrbile. Their prices are very good. I use them to give free domains away at my site since they are the ONLY registrar with Decent prices for me to do that. The interface is way easy.. easy to buy easy to use... But I cant say they are my Favorite but overall they are very good.!

I've been a Registerfly user since 2004. Some example of problems I've had with them are:
a) site is intermittently down for me
b) domain registration problems at times
c) can't change my domain name server today

The thing I hate most is their customer support. I'd like to tell you my experience with them but I think vulgarity is not accepted on NP.

The only reasons I'm still with them is bcos I'm used to the admin UI and they're cheap.

I called the fabled "Glenn" from RegisterFly. He said he would have my account fixed and compensation paid by 4 days ago. Yet, I see nothing.

so I opened an account 2 days ago and tried to register a bunch of .info's at 60 cents each. I get a receipt (email) and when I look in my account they are all there w/ SUCCESS registration status showing for each. But they are NOT registered (still show available everywhere). So I get on that chat thingy, which finally works after umpteen tries, get some guy named 'Bob' in the chat, says he will get back to me about it, and over an hour later I finally leave as he never comes back. Try again later and get Bob again. Tells me to re-register the names (which scares me since I already have a payment receipt). Of course it doesn't work anyway, keep ending up w/ an empty cart, even though in the upper right corner says there are 41 items in it (lol). back on chat, back to Bob (hour or so wait), and then he says wait 12 hours to try again, their 'interface' system is not working. Assures me my card hasn't been charged even though I have a receipt.

Try again tonight and still no luck, chat support says wait 24-48 hours this time, as their .info registration system is not working (wtf!). I want to give up, but 60 cent .infos, is there anywhere else even close to that?

PS - I haven't checked my credit card yet. Think Bob was telling the truth?

Someone hacked today my account and tried to transfer every one of my domains away, they changed all my dns settings to some porn site, no one knows my password but "apprently" it must have been my fault.

...also they charge your account whenever they feel like it, there are so many transactions on my account that are un-accounted for its unreal, i have been trying to transfer all my names away for months now but even that is proving a headache.

Absolutely the worst

I would not recommend using Registerfly to my worst enemy. Absolutely the worst experience I have had online.

Worst Registrar ever.

I ordered registration of two domain registration. I completed every step and they even charged me and sent the confirmation mail.
I got the domains in my account. But even after more then 3 days domain names are still unaccessible. When I checked the whois for these domain names they are marked as ungistered! :O
I tried to contact them via live chat and support ticket, but no response from there end so far. :(

Absolutly the worst host ever. >:(

Similar experience: I reg'd a domain at RegFly on 1/1, searched for a list of names today (1/4) and saw it was still showing as available. As of this moment, there is still no information in whois, and somebody else could probably reg it now.

Their support has been fairly responsive in the past, so I'm waiting to see how they answer my trouble ticket about this problem.

Love their sale prices (especially those $2.99 .net's!), but sometimes you get what you pay for.
