:hi:

I was goofing around trying out different words ( a LOT made up ) on the registrars today and found a few I liked and I registered them. Here are a couple I picked:

northly.com
southly.com
eastly.com

(westly was gone)
I figured they could be used for real estate or a place with the initials LY (Lybia?)
or whatever..I just liked them! (and they have some google results too)

Now, list yours!

One word brandable .com's...why you picked them...let's see them! :)

If anybody wants to search for really good made up words, the 'Squiggly Letters' at 'Submit Your URL/Google' provide some great creations.

Most of the suggestions are pronounceable.

What a clever idea. I refreshed the page about 30 times and found some interesting terms, (din't reg any but do have one or two that are very tempting.)

DOMINIC, you are a dangerous person to be around. You've gotten me into this new fetish and you helped open the door to blooks for me -and- you acheived these two feats all within the period of a month!

Nvnu is a tough one for us English speakers. We have trouble wrapping our minds, (and tongues) around words w/o vowels but it is a nice looking LLLL.com, nevertheless.
These are my favorites from your list.

veevoo.com
digizilla.com
blookee.com
blookoo.com
zoftech.com

I couldn't help but notice you have a "zilla" name. Woah! Don't get me started. I counted my "zilla names" today and I have 45, maybe a few more.

Let me turn the tables and ask you a question about one of my names. What is your impression of Xingzilla.com? I noticed your location is in Hong Kong and, I'm relatively certain you are familiar w/ the Pin-Yin word Xing. Does Xingzilla work? I also have Beijxing.com and a dozen or so other names w/ xing, xi, 888, and other terms that were inspired by Pin-Yin and lucky numbers.

BTW, Zoftech is really starting to jump out at me.

appreciate for ur comments..:)

xing have several very good/direct meaning in terms of PinYin, like 性,means sex, 星 means star, 姓 means family name,

but I don't think xingzilla.com really works for chinese...IMO of couse...because while u ask any chinese people (good educated or normal educated), they most likely will direct using, sex/star/name for those meaning while they suffering internet, they may using chinese word, but I don't think they will using pinyin+zilla in this case.....as these are some popula english word in China...

Thanks. Well, I guess the vision that I had of 888.com emailing me w/ an offer isn't going to happen after all. I was under the impression that "xing" also could imply "good fortune" but I suppose "sex" and "good fortune" are interchangeable or, at least, go hand in hand. Looks like that's one of my zilla names that's heading towards the dumpster. I have seen several xing names that have been registered but I can see where zilla would be a problem. Is "X" pronounced like "Z" as it would be in English? I have a feeling that I, already, know the answer to that and that it isn't going to be the answer that I would like to hear.

Let's see, 1-word .com names I have...

Technologized.com - Always have liked the sound...makes a good tech news site IMO.

Ophiophobia.com - Fear of snakes...actually quite a common fear but not a very well-known word apparently!

Teleonomy.com - "The quality of apparent purposefulness in living organisms that derives from their evolutionary adaptation." Don't ask me why I got it...I liked the look of the word I guess, lol. Who knows, some biology major might want it.

Rachen.com - Rachen is German for throat. I did more or less get it because of its look and sound. Over 1 mil Google though, not too shabby.

Subhack(s).com - Okay, so this is a made-up word but one I would hope catches on. I always call subdomain domain hacks "subhacks" for short. Example: 00Domains.com would allow for a search-friendly subhack like 7.00Domains.com. Del.icio.us is another one.

I have a bunch of them but here's a couple that I really like...

:gn: Eurotia.com ~ dictionary word (it's a type of plant used to make biofuels - ethanol!)

:lala: Mixtasy.com ~ good DJ name, or possibly a cocktail/beverage website.

Z in PinYin is very close/same with Z's English pronoucation
X in PinYin is like Sh, I can not write its phonetic symbol,(like a S, refer She's phonetic symbol,) but anyway, Xing is Like Shing...

as u seems a zilla lover, can I ask u a question, I only know Zilla came from the Japanese Godzilla...but while it used in normal English context or branding, normally people using zilla for what kind of website?
so far, zilla site seems still not so many while we consider there was so much xxxzilla been registed...what the trend we can foresee/guess?

I registered two that say the same thing because, at the time, I couldn't decide on which was the best one. I'm leaning towards the 1st one that I've listed here.

Buzzcronyms.Com
Buzzonyms.Com

Recent, new, and emerging acronyms. Visitors can submit buzzcronyms that they believe should be listed or suggest new ones that they've created themselves that they believe to be worthy of consideration. Awards might be worked into the mix as an incentive.

My two favorites I've reg'd so far are:

Pundle.com
Qewt.com

A pundle is a mix of a pun and a riddle. It's an actual word game that is easier to demonstrate than explain. Here is a pundle that means "head over heels in love". CLICKY HERE! Pundle is also an Indian surname (I think).

I also have (in no particular order):

NetWt.com
Fallal.com - meaning "a showy article of dress"
Golfbawl.com
Elkx.com
Muddin.net
Monduni.net
Tukz.com
Und1.com - "and1" in German. 1and1 tried to steal this from me (IMO)
Quacka.com
Qwacka.com
Nabzilla.com
Swagzilla.com
Blix.biz
LoDrag.com - this used to be a site that sold bicycle trailers
Delusi0n.net
Afeard.com - actual backwoods word meaning "afraid"
Bammed.com
Ulia.net - a Russian girls name
Adulion.com
Phukd.com
ZPix.net
Universox.com - could be translated as UniverseX in Spanish
HiVi.net
Qewt.com
RoarShack.com
