This was always an abvious Google aquisition. They had a google plugin already and it wouldn't have been too expensive to buy. I think the bigger deal was last weeks writely purchase.

Google seems like going after everything cool and creative and can be integrated with google stuff that already exists, only recently did it buy out www.writely.com !
