Maybe after introducing WLS, price at SN will get lower.

not for .co.uk.... they dont have WLS. I wonder how snapnames will compare to detagged.co.uk and other uk chasers.

What's the deal with a detagged co.uk domain? I read what it said on the co.uk registry, and I had the impression that detagged domains cannot be transferred until the original owner actually asks for his domain to be deleted.

I must be severely mistaken - someone enlighten me please?

The delete process regarding a co.uk extension is a long drawn out affair. You must renew names with current registry if you wait too long up to 6 - 12 months in cases. You will then receive a renewal directly from nominet charging over the odds,there is a time period how long god only knows. visit http://www.nominet.org.uk/they should have the whole process. I hope this helps(ps this has been the procedure with me) here is a example.
