Howdy,
I am looking for strong alternatives for stand-alone email hosting for my website. I currently have a VPS which is used for both website and email, but am planning to use a CDN soon and it is advised that having my email on same server as the website will ultimately still expose my ip because of the mx records, making it easy for malicious people to simply ddos it directly instead of bumping heads against my cdn. So, now I am looking at what is a good solution to separate the email server from website server, where I can use for multiple emails addresses based on a single domain and which is reasonably priced and not likely to have emails be marked as spam etc due to bad usage by others. I looked at GD, and not sure if workplace option is sufficient, and not so keen on doing the office 365 option (but open to reviews).
Any reviews on Google Suite? I see that I can set up multiple aliases for receiving email, does that work for SENDING as well or would all outgoing be routed through the primary email address?
Other options, with a good webmail interface and IMAP option? I don't need anything except email hosting, since pretty pleased with current website host etc.. Thanks in advance for any and all constructive discussion and tips!
