Hmmm I’m not a fan of the rebrand.
Sure, the rebrand of the name itself is nice.. it’s short and memorable, just need to be careful that people might forget the dot and think spring(.)com
One other thing to factor is when saying the url out loud:
“Spree dot NG”

They say they're now spring, but they don't seem to have let go of thier original name...

another reason why i hate domain hacks

this reeks of a tech engineer who made a marketing decision. yes it looks witty on paper but it will not be marketable or easily remembered.

Looks like .Ng (Cctld for Nigeria) is getting a bit of traction.

Domain hacks are one thing, but you’d want to associate yourself with the cctld ie (operate in that country). To me personally there should be a connection between country, your business and your vision
