Just got back from having some great mexican food.
Hey, first time in about 2 or 3 months since I had mexican food.
But I told wife, right now I am in that short period of time where I can take spicy food, pepper, etal....so mexican it is.
Anyways, music they were playing was mexican, but hey, we were figuring out the ones that we know, only in english.
This version is not as good as the one we heard, but still, if you did not know the title, you would pick up on it within 10 seconds.
Wife said, Name That Tune should come back and just have the mexican version of english songs.

Also had The Auctioneer and more...but so far, can find no mexican version.
Will go back to you tube and try mexican instead of spanish.

When I think of Mexican music, Mariachi bands playing "Cielito Lindo" is what first comes to mind...

I have no idea nor does my wife what the spanish lyrics are in a song.
We were going by the cadence and the background instruments.
They then to use lots of trumpets and their own guitars.
Some sounded excellent, one I told my wife I have no idea what this song is about, but damn everyone sounds happy as hell.
Then another song, my wife says this sounds like someone wanting to fight. I said yeah to me it is a nice martial song sung before a battle.
The Degüello comes to mind.....is prominent in Texas history....think Alamo.

Did you know..

In Iowa, is where one could find a life-sized cow sculpted from butter? Yep. For more than 40 years at the Iowa State Fair, a fine woman named Norma Lyon, dubbed the "Butter-Cow Lady" has been making a life-like butter cow for all to enjoy.

Chisels, dental tools, a wire mesh frame and about 600 pounds of butter is what it takes, not to mention a talent for sculpting.

Wonder if Dawg has ever seen, visited?

Hey, it is some kind of mystic law in Iowa that all Iowans must go to the Iowa State Fair each year and traipse through the butter exhibits.
Now me, not being native Iowan, discovered years back, that the state fair is basically the same thing every year. Thus, wife and I do not go anymore.

Finished Season Two of Bad Blood.
Declan ended alive....am sure Season Three, when it comes, will explain how he lived to kill Theresa.
Her and Christian, her twin brother, were weird for sure.
Sure Season Three will bring their father to Montreal to seek revenge.

Tried to get into the last 2 years of Z Nation that I had not seen, did not work...could care less about them. They are like the Walking Dead, nothing but stupidity now to keep them on the air.

Same with the Badlands....just not the same as the original 2 seasons.....
