I hope you're enjoying the site. As a member here, I consider each of you to be a co-owner of the site. It's your participation that builds value to the site, and I hope to utilize your suggestions and ideas to help pilot the site.

So, here's your chance to talk about what you would (or wouldn't) like to see added or changed on our site.

Forums you would like to see? New tools that would help?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Sales - i always have something to sell...softeare, scripts, websites, products....

and of course I am always in the market for something!

I'd like to see a seperate sales area to provide related offers AND almost anything else members have to sell.

Perhaps, one day, "NP Dough" (NP$) and an exchange for them. Evolve to include NP$ Auctions, NP$ Sales threads, or other items for sale for NP$, and fun contests .... paying in "NP Dough".

For instance, 250 NP$ for the correct posting of the date in which 750 members is attained, or 1,000 members, etc. I think they'd be a blast for sports contests, too. All kinds of B-) things.
Just a suggestion to keep things fun, perhaps down the road a little bit.
Having a blast here, RJ! :D
Thanks.

I would like to suggest that you institute a $50 membership fee, then at the end of each month, turn the proceeds over to me (though somehow I think this idea may be a non-starter). :D

hey,

how about something to show the date of each post instead of just time? I think that would be really nice. If i can think of something else will definately keep you guys posted :)

Hmm.. first top/sticky this thread so you don't get it buried. Maybe have more things added to the domain store.

Yeah a buy/sell/trade forum for everything other than domains would be cool

I like the idea a sell all page

Also a live chat page would be nice
but I wouldn't have anyone to chat with
at 5am

Oh Well!

A rookie help thread would be cool.
Us rookies need all the help we can get.

Thanks John B-)

How about a $100 membership and I'll split it with you Duke!
:D

2. Make this thread a sticky. (as suggested above)

Cheers!

If RJ wishes, sure! Except, not until after next Monday/Tuesday ... I got too much partying to do this weekend, starting TODAY. LOL.

PS. Beautiful on the new "For Sale / Advertising Board"!! B-)
See 'ya.

How about an "Advice" section for people wanting suggestions on development issues or just plain old help with basic troubleshooting problems regarding their website.

i suggest that you don't add too many changes, too quickly.

the difference between here and there.......is the difference, and i like it like that.

i don't want to see a lot of flashing banners, and attention grabbers. i don't want to see a lot of commercialism.

i just want interaction, conversation and to make a few sales... every now and then.

it's cool, just the way it is for now!

Very much agreed.. when I started here a few weeks ago there were like 3 new posts a day. Now there is almost 100.. it's growing TOO fast. Maybe have memberships cost like $1 after the 1st so you can help pay for the forum and only have serious people here

Lol, I didn't mean for current members.. but the way they have been pouring in and only 1/10 of them are active we might as well have a way to weed out the non-serious people

I just don't understand what your trying to say?
Apparently you don't have a very good understanding of forum dynamics?

The people pouring in here the last few days are some of the most professional domainers on the net.

Good Luck!

I totally disagree with this outlook. First off, you don't charge for something that you're trying to provide for free. Secondly, "TOO" fast should be interpreted as a positive, not a negative. When the numbers peak out, then the progression will level off to a steady flow, just like in a restaurant, retail, or any other business or newly opened grand central station. I'm sure the administrators don't mind the attention of registrations. Remember, it's a good thing, not something to come right off the bat and charge for if your attempting to build a community.

I think the recent sign-ups, membership growth, increasing amounts of traffic are terrific! RJ's got some big 'ole servers running, there's enough of us here to keep the threads active and responsive, and improvements are being worked on as we speak.
This is a GOOD thing, at this stage IMO.
Let's just keep looking forward and have fun on the journey!
See you.

Well I am saying about before only like 100 out of the 629 members are active. And I do know about forums. I own my own and I help run one.
I didn't think I would get my head bitten off for saying that
