Typo of a generic website

have a www.www[domain].com typo of a very popular website.

However the web name is very generic so am confused as to where i stand?

Thanks wlspro, have now gone cross eyed though...

How bout, the typo name I now have (which Im partially ashamed to admit) is a typo of a generic name (albeit also a very popular web site name) that one of my sites is affilaited to.

My masterstroke was to forward all urls to them thus retaining any commissh.

I guess, in hindsight, they might take issue regardless of the fact they indirectly get the traffic maybe because affilliate agreements werent designed in this fashion.

Guess i should take off the redirect?

Many affiliate agreements specifically prohibit such typos and such use is grounds for termination of the agreement. This type of use has also been found to be in bad faith and basis for transfer of the domain name under UDRP.
