I see a really medium names sold for XXX$..
And we can also see these are recent sales occured 2 months ago top.

since I haven't found a proper thread for this here, I've decided to ask you guys what your opinions about mp3 domains. And if you have any, i'd appreciate if you could share it with me..

You say it is outdated yet as mentioned there were a pretty nice sales not so long ago..
This specific domain have about 300 AMS.. It's a bit low isn't it ?

90%+ of those are godaddy expiring. They were probably illegal download sites with a lot of traffic. There is also a dropcatch one on there. So those were bought by domainers and I would bet most will never be developed or sold again.

The other few are mp3.co, mp3.cc, etc. Looks like someone is collecting those - but they aren't developed either.

10 years ago these would be killer names. 5 years ago they would've been ok.

The industry has moved to streaming music, and a new service called Tidal was even announced yesterday with lossless streaming music.

I wouldn't invest your money in a dying technology. Just my advice.
