Afternic doesn't have auctions. GoDaddy's auctions are best for domains with an "algorithm value" posted by GoDaddy ONLY on GoDaddy owned names (i.e expired). I never see any of the featured with any bids and other than the GoDaddy appraised, I see very few bids and the auctions I've had (with good names) had no more than 1 or 2 views. Sedo charges unless you pass the great domains which I see uninspiring (and unbid on) listings. Namejet - I've sold a couple of things but at the no reserve $69 tier. Ditto Flippa, which now costs $25! So I have this question also. Ebay has a lot of NameSilo (I'm assuming maybe expired) names selling for dirt cheap - pennies and not much gets sold over $100 unless it's 4 letters. So I'm stumped. Seems that all the auctions are for dropped names that are watched like hawks by wholesalers who won't even fork over $69 at namejet. Any suggestions?
I just have to say that we really have to support one another and if you're able to resell a domain for 6 figures -- why not give a struggling independent a break and spend a few hundred instead of waiting and trying to pick it up for under $100?
