Wordpress caregories - worth making pages

Hi all. Thanks in advance for any assiatnce. I am wondering if it is worthwhile to create unique pages for each category in WP?

I am considering this for some of my categories that will get subcategories. This will allow to have some sort of a page for let's say 'money' and then have sub-categories that would list the latest posts (similar to a news page) like: saving money, investment, small business etc.

So, I can see a good use if you have a category with some sub-categories, since it will allow to showcase more content. If you don't have it just yet, you can stick to the normal display from wordpress and then create such pages.
