I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

Unfortunately, in our country, in addition to the victims of the war, a lot of people began to die of hunger and malnutrition-related diseases.

For example, in the city where we were evacuated from Mariupol, we were given humanitarian aid only three times in a whole year (there were food kits twice and hygiene products once), but the victims from Bakhmut, who were evacuated to the same city as we - food kits are given twice a month. What else can be said...

I got sick very much because I communicate here with fellow countrymen from Mariupol and they have completely lost weight in a year, however, just like my mother and I, among other things.

Add to the above written psychological aspect of the realization that housing is destroyed and there is simply nowhere to return.... People have earned their housing for years, generations and are now left with nothing and nobody needs it...

Sorry guys...

I still somehow exist and try to somehow earn money on food but earn money on the purchase of housing - this one is unrealistic. But the neighbors who were evacuated from Kramatorsk, the husband and wife, who are 60 and 62 years old, did not work out until retirement for several years, but all the money that the state pays to temporary immigrants goes to rent housing and there is nothing to buy for them and they are forced to go once a day to free meals... tin it all... My mother and I invite them to our dinner as much as possible almost every evening and eat four of them - it pains me to look them in the eye.

Best Regards
Tatiana

Ukraine's counteroffensive will be 'very impressive' - Gen Petraeus

Gen David Petraeus has said Ukraine’s counteroffensive is “very impressive” and can succeed, adding that the Ukrainians are “determined to liberate their country”.

Petraeus, who was director of the CIA and led international forces in Iraq and Afghanistan before that, has been in Kyiv recently, meeting President Zelenskiy and others.

"This is just one day of Russian aggression. This is just one Russian act of terrorism. This is just one Russian war crime. Now Russia is guilty of brutal ecocide. Any comments are superfluous. The world must react. Russia is at war against life, against nature, against civilization. Russia must leave the Ukrainian land and must be held fully accountable for its terror."

"Russia has been controlling the dam and the entire Kakhovka HPP for more than a year. It is physically impossible to blow it up somehow from the outside, by shelling. It was mined by the Russian occupiers. And they blew it up. Russia has detonated a bomb of mass environmental destruction. This is the largest man-made environmental disaster in Europe in decades. It is the most dangerous terrorist in the world. And that is why Russia's defeat – a defeat that we’ll ensure anyway – will be the most significant contribution to the security of our region, our Europe and the entire world."

The dam was very important and served a number of purposes.
It held back a vast reservoir that supplied water to a host of communities upstream, and also provided cooling water to the nuclear power station at Zaporizhzhia, around 100 miles upstream, which is under Russian control and relies on the reservoir.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said there was no immediate nuclear safety risk but it was monitoring the situation.
It later said in a statement that if the dam did fall below 12.7m, the lowest level at which water can still be pumped upstream to Zaporizhzhia, there were alternative water sources to keep the nuclear plant cool, including a large cooling pond next to the site.

"The situation in the occupied part of Kherson region is absolutely catastrophic. The occupiers simply abandoned people in these terrible conditions. Without rescue, without water, just on the rooftops in flooded communities. And this is another deliberate crime of Russia: after the terrorist state has caused a disaster, it also maximizes the damage from it. Now we need a clear and quick response from the world to what is happening. It is even impossible to establish for sure how many people in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region may die without rescue, without drinking water, without food, without medical care. Our military and special services are rescuing people as much as it is possible, despite the shelling. But large-scale efforts are needed. We need international organizations, such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, to immediately join the rescue operation and help people in the occupied part of Kherson region. Each person who dies there is a verdict on the existing international architecture and international organizations that have forgotten how to save lives. If there is no international organization in the area of this disaster now, it means that it does not exist at all, that it is incapable of functioning. All the relevant appeals from Ukraine and our government are in place."

"Russian terrorists have once again proved that they are a threat to everything living. The destruction of one of the largest water reservoirs in Ukraine is absolutely deliberate. At least 100 thousand people lived in these areas before the Russian invasion. At least tens of thousands are still there. Hundreds of thousands of people have been left without normal access to drinking water. Our services, all those who can help people, are already involved. But we can only help on the territory controlled by Ukraine. On the part occupied by Russia, the occupiers are not even trying to help people. This once again demonstrates the cynicism with which Russia treats the people whose land it has captured and what Russia really brings to Europe and the world."

For the sake of intelligence, on the aphids of the military malice committed by russia at the Kakhovka hydroelectric station, the aggressor power is preparing to commit another terrorist act - this time on its territory against the distant calls of Ukraine

Doomsday Clock 90 seconds to midnight

Due largely, but not exclusively, to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the increased risk of nuclear escalation stemming from the conflict. The last remaining nuclear weapons treaty between Russia and the United States is scheduled to expire in February 2026.

Russia to deploy tactical nukes to Belarus in July.

Putin said he wasn't bluffing when he declared he'd use "all available means to protect Russia and our people".

U.S. tactical nuclear warheads are deployed at bases in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Turkey.

The conflict continues to mount, I don't see the conflict ending without at least one single nuke missile being fired. I don't think Putin is going to leave nuke weaponry behind. I hope i am wrong.

Recently, a Polish military corps labled a "Pro-Ukraine group of partisans" attacked beyond Russian borders. While many in the West might consider it justified, no doubt it will stir the hornets nest.

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!! just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

The only way this ends well is if both sides stop , and stop soon. i am not sure the point of return hasn't already taken place. thing is, a person as unstable as Putin , is not going to leave,,, what he thinks are his, nuclear missiles behind if 1. he feels the war is lost. or 2. that someone is going to kill him. be it from within or a Ukrainian

Wagner Group* launches rebellion against russian military establishment

Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin called for an armed uprising to topple russia's military establishment on Friday, prompting 'president" vladimir putin to denounce the mercenaries' actions as "treason" and russian authorities to call for Prigozhin’s arrest. British intelligence said early Saturday that some of the group's forces were heading towards moscow. Follow FRANCE 24's reports from the field and analysis.

Prigozhim is marching his Wagner Group army toward Moscow while at the same time demanding to meet with top Russian army generals. It seems clear to me that he wants to convince the Russian army generals to join him and his rebellion in order to replace Putin.

Wagner has taken a military transport with support helicopters. Putin just had a refinery destroyed t keep Wagener from getting fuel.

This might be the scenario where Putin uses tactical nukes...on his own land.
