poll Travel.Agency what will it sell for

Travel.agency has to be one of the most relevant new gTLDs and therefore one would expect it to be one of the most valuable. It has 110,000 exact match searches per month on Google.
The question is what would the name now sell for?
I’m going to estimates in today's market it will sell for $7000
I think the downside of this name is that travel agencies use brands and not keywords. Keywords have lost favour over the last few years due to Google's change in the search algorithm.
Interested to see what other members think it will sell for and why and seeing who is the closet.
Also think it will be sold to a domainer and not to an end-user. And at $7000 I think there will be little upside when trying to remarket it to an end user.

I think you misunderstand, it's what we think it will get at auction not what we think it's worth hypothetical to an end user. Even though I'm no fan of new gTLDs purely from a domainer point of view. I thought it would get $7k I'm obviously wrong looking nearer $10k. My worry is at 10k the wholesale price is greater than the end user value. Us domainers love the look of them but a business has to think will it increase or decrease the bottom line and in most instances it will decrease. Great for an association or if you own the .com or if you are in a monopoly like say a large venue concert hall But for a normal business competing against hundreds of businesses in the same field all shouting to be heard, keep to the .com or ccTLD saves marketing costs, lost of traffic, loss of emails and confusion. There simply not enough public awareness and never will, it's the first years of launch that are most important and none have gained traction. Great for registys, great for end users with small budgets and just starting, crap for domainers.

And that was done for Flippa's own commercial purposes (and it was great success for them btw - great marketing trick). After that he quickly became great domaining expert. Most of the users in this forum are blind followers of his supernatural powers.

Maybe one day ShaneDomain will wake up in the morning and will decide to enlighten us about Ali Zandi, the same way he did about Flippa and Adam Dicker. Again nothing new for the people who can use their brains. But it was funny to see how surprising was for the other users.

I just recently saw this domain over at Namebio. I was surprised because it was on top of a list of featured. But I shouldn't be surprised because that is a "PRO" move. Something I should follow.

That being said "because" it is featured on Namebio and other sites. why wouldn't it sell for $10,000 or whatever. It is a great domain.

Marketing is everything in this biz. but it's not cheap or free. plus featuring on Namebio is smart. lots of lazer targetted eyes on your domain action going on there. but if it were me? if I did that 30 day $125 listing? I'd divide up that cost over all my domains in my portofolio and make sure the landing page for my domain link is the SEDO or Godaddy or Flippa listing which also has a link to my entire portfolio plus a cherrypicked list of domains I own similar to say Travel.Agency. might as well right? maybe get a few other sales in the process.

If you read through, its peoples thoughts of what it will get at auction, given the name its what many gTLD advocates would consider valuable, while others feel this is the type of new gTLD that looks good but has little resale value #FOOLSGOLD.
If you think it should be in the sales section then fine, you should say that. Saying VILE is just being inflammatory for no reason other than just getting your internal anger out. Go and kick the cat.
