Hey all figured with the recent .io 6 figure sale and the nice .xyz sale by a follow NP member. We should open a showcase and discussion thread here.

Metaverse is a fast growing keyword, term and niche! Let's share and discuss our name and news.

I've only got One to start with but its a GOOD one my favorite ending keyword on most names.

MetaverseHub.com

Welcome! :)

I disagree. I wouldn’t pay $39 let alone 39K for a confusing typo appearance. My reasons are quite sound too as stated above. It doesn’t matter how easy it is to say if the meaning is unclear to human eyes.
Lol I'd say the price is justified. It's not a typo. It's a contextual play on the word with a relevant use case.

Peta is the biggest animal activist brand. Peta is also a Greek word like meta. In computing we have "petabytes". Petaverse can easily be understood by people who know about the metaverse to be about pets..

Many reasons you thinking it's not worth $39 is funny..

The name metaversegroup.com , purchased for $ 75,000, is not being used.
It is surprising when dearly bought names are not used.

petaverse is easier to pronounce, plus the term is already used widely as platform for Dogami as i mentioned earlier.....likewise i would choose betaverse over betverse, same reasoning, plus can use for beta games/products...need to think outside the box...multiple use options is always an advantage
I own T/r/u/s/t/a/v/e/r/s/e dot. com. Do you think it's worth more now after the Peta sale? 🤔

If I recall a few pages back Elad said he sold it to a group what was already called metaverse or something maybe it was metaversegroup/io

since it was recently sold maybe buyer has not implemented yet or maybe just to protect their territory
purchases doesn't have to be used instantly

It takes five minutes to make a redirect.
And what can be bad or criminal in a redirect?
Maybe someone else bought it, who wants to squeeze more money from metaversegroup dot io?

It isn't a typo. The prefix peta is a unit of measurement that means one quadrillion. Think Kilo, Deci, Milli, Centi, Octa etc

@Selian I like your trust. A lot of good names in this thread. Any prediction here for my U/n/ic/o/r/n/M/e/t/a/v/e/r/s/e? I would highly appreciate some opinions.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and success to any metaverse related names in 2022!
This thread has been amazing seeing experts and novices contribute.
Some have sent me PMs asking for thoughts on their registrations, glad to always provide feedback.

I want to throw some ideas out to see if there is enough interest as we're all invested in Metaverse.

1) Partnering up for selling. (e.g. person A owns meta+kw, person B owns metaverse+kw, person C owns mv+kw. More opportunity to sell as a package esp if there is a potential buyer situtation)

2) Partnering up to build out. (e.g. same concept as above if you are more interested in building out more than selling. I don't own many metaverse names, but half of them I'm building out)

3) Trading names.

If you feel more comfortable sending me a PM instead, feel free to do so.
All the best to everyone in 2022.

Still a lot of good MV plus keyword names available and we can see that the business world is buying MV plus whatever words. so I think we could do more hand regging of those.

From what I understand the metaverse is supposed to be one single thing that englobes all the possible universes in existence. So from a semantic perspective, talking about the metaverse of something (in your case a U/n/ic/o/r/n/M/e/t/a/v/e/r/s/e) wouldn't make a lot of sense IMO. But I could be wrong, I am not a native English speaker.

Unicorn means "rare" and it is LGBT related.
