Wow, I'm a huge fan of .net for many many years, I think it is still the best and won't be easy to beat, yet I'm wishing you the best for making an even better platform. That's how the industry will be progressing further and further.125k on expireddomains.com Building the best domaining site (slowly).
hopefully the site caters only to end users and not to domainers, unless you are doing this for a hobby and are charitable. The end user market for this is untapped and can be extremely profitable, not to mention, less work to develop.125k on expireddomains.com Building the best domaining site (slowly).
David....thanks for chiming in......if i need a plumber, i'm calling you However if you charge for travel and travel time I'm not sure I can afford youThink I spent 1k on a name once. Then 500 bucks and below. Pretty rare I spend more than 80 bucks.
Still have the 1k name. Never had an offer on it lol but ah well easy come easy go.
Not sure if you realize, but "Solo" is a brand of cup. It's their trademark.David....thanks for chiming in......if i need a plumber, i'm calling you However if you charge for travel and travel time I'm not sure I can afford you
I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do with RedSoloCupz.com (note the z represents the actual letter in the domain that I bought). I just knew I really liked the name and what it meant to me.....there I go again, it's all about me Seriously though, Toby Keith died of stomach cancer at 62 years young and I'm now thinking of developing a site where the purchase of "Red Solo Cups" for your party or personal use will go to a cure for cancer.
Huge Domains actually financed it for me and I pay just $200 (zero interest) a month to them for 12 months. While I may not have paid $2,400 all at once for it I may not have bought it, but the zero interest financing over 12 months hooked me
Thanks Brad....did you look that up just for me While it's intended use is to bring attention to "stomach cancer" that Toby Keith died from, whoever owns the TM might just want to be involved in some capacity? What do you think? Not sure if you realize, but "Solo" is a brand of cup. It's their trademark.
Best of luck with the domain.
Brad
AbortCNN I got that from CNN too Actually it came from Don Lemon who they've fired. Most I have spent on a domain is reg fee. Sold my first name for £5,000 in 2000. Got on CNN news!
So what's the most you ever paid for a domain Brad and what did you do with it?Not sure if you realize, but "Solo" is a brand of cup. It's their trademark.
Best of luck with the domain.
Brad
The most in the last couple months was $15K+ for a two word .COM.So what's the most you ever paid for a domain Brad and what did you do with it?
Thanks Bob....i'll have to say I'm pretty much an impulse buyer. I'm pretty Patriotic despite loving Canada like I do. When Toby Keith (country singer made famous for his Patriotic songs) died of stomach cancer earlier this week, i just wanted to do something.I tend to be frugal and cheap. I am pretty sure the most I have paid is for a few in the $60 to $80 range.
