discuss Counter or no-counter on an opening offer?

After over almost 2 decades in this industry, at times, I still fail to understand the endusers/buyers during negotiations and lose quite a few sales to the counter-strategy. My question at hand is; Should we really counter to an opening offer or accept as it? What do most of you do? So to...

    offers Counter or not

Hello mates. I've received an $1k offer for a/n/o/n/y/m/.n/e/t. All my negotiation experience before have not succeeded (not with mentioned domain), and I know that .net domains sales are suffering nowadays. On the other hand generic dictionary word. So I'm little bit confused to make a decision.

Hi all I appreciate any advise in regards to my situation. I approached a company who has the exact domain name as mine; except with a different extension. They offered me 20K for it; knowing that I declined 1K offer less than 7 years ago. I would say they are fairly funded and open for...
