96% page speed grade, 94% Yslow grade but over 8 seconds waiting time.

Why is the wait time so so long? Any feedback is very much appreciated.

Looks like your own server is processing the PHP and making it wait for that long.

You should install a caching plugin and disable wp-cron!

Then create a cron job to the wp-cron.php file... every 15 mins, 30 mins or so.

By default wordpress launches a wp-cron process for each page load, its terrible.

The site is very basic... it shouldn't be taking anywhere near that long. Its perhaps a potential MySQL database server problem. Your site could be waiting on a query or two to compelte.

If you have any plugins active that you aren't using, you should disable them also.
