About domain rental

HI all,I'd like to know if some of you rent their domain name.Is there a market for that?If yes,how much do you rent them monthly and how do you determine the price.Thanks

I don't really think there's a market for it. The price of registering a name is so low that I don't see why anyone would want or need to pay monthly instead.

It's only beneficial if there is true value to the root TLD.

For example, if you owned SALES.COM there is a chance, some companies would "rent" BOAT.SALES.COM as it would be cheap for them, and good on keywords. Moreso than buying the domain BOATSALES.COM

As for prices, i truelly haveNO idea

My friend rents a domain. I was told its a .com and its meant to be worth some $

He said he rents sub domains for $10 p.a Hope this helps.

website.com is also accepting domain rental, and yes, it would depend on the root domain.
