Hello everyone.
I realize blood diamonds are not often discussed in the news anymore, but its's still a major problem. How does this relate to a domain name? I know own blood.diamonds
Here is what's interesting, and sad. And I want your thoughts.
My question is, this domain was sold at a premium EVERYWHERE I looked that sold the .diamonds domain, except one company, and they did not allow the sell of that word. Not naming names..
And the premiums were not arbitrary, some for +100$ more some +1000$. Meaning, it was nic available premiums set by the corporation.
What do you think about domain registrars profiting from Blood Diamonds? I know it's esoteric. But "Don't be Evil" means don't do exactly this.
Curious on your thoughts.
Cheers,
Mike
Fyi, this is NOT for sale and never will be. If I build out a site all profits will go to charity or families directly affected by these atrocities.
